On February 3, the Sheikh Zayed Award for Human Brotherhood Forum opened in Abu Dhabi. The forum focused on societal resilience, the role of families and social groups, female leadership, and humanitarian activity.

Mirziyoyeva noted that today’s world faces increasing conflicts and fear, eroding trust among people. “Human brotherhood is not a slogan, but a practical choice: to see people as human and care about them,” she emphasized.

According to her, female leadership begins long before official positions — in families, schools, and local communities. This experience shapes a style of leadership focused on harm prevention, order, and long-term thinking.

She also highlighted the impact of artificial intelligence on the economy, education, and governance: “Development without women is a path to instability.” In Uzbekistan, women occupy nearly 40% of parliamentary seats, but this is not enough, she added.

Mirziyoyeva stressed the unacceptability of domestic violence and the need for laws, courts, and institutions that genuinely protect people. In conclusion, she stated: “Human brotherhood is formed not by declarations, but by daily practice.”

The Sheikh Zayed Award, established in 2019, is presented annually for contributions to human brotherhood, tolerance, and intercultural dialogue. Since 2025, Saida Mirziyoyeva has been a member of its international jury, the first representative from Central Asia.
