Salaries of Cultural Institution Employees to Be Increased Twice
Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan has adopted a new resolution aimed at improving working conditions and creating adequate incentives for employees in the field of culture and arts.
According to Resolution No. 400 "On Increasing Salaries for Employees in Culture and Arts, Information-Library Institutions, and Museums", the salaries of employees in state cultural institutions and organizations will be raised in stages.
Under the resolution:
Salaries will increase by 20% starting from January 1, 2025;
An additional 15% increase will take effect from July 1, 2025.
These measures are designed to improve the living standards of culture and arts sector employees and ensure stable working conditions for them.
Furthermore, a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) system is planned to be introduced to evaluate the efficiency of employees in state cultural institutions and organizations. This system will ensure objective and fair assessment of their work performance and motivate them to achieve higher results.
This resolution is considered a significant milestone in Uzbekistan's state policy for the development of the cultural sector. Special attention to employees of information-library institutions and museums plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of cultural and educational services and increasing their effectiveness in serving the public.
