Senate and “Development Strategy” Center Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
Uzbekistan
To enhance parliamentary oversight and improve legislative quality, the Senate Committee and the “Development Strategy” Center have signed a cooperation memorandum. Scientific-analytical support, expert review of drafts, and international experience exchange will form the basis of the new collaboration.
On March 27, the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Ties, Foreign Investments, and Tourism of the Oliy Majlis and the “Development Strategy” Center signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document aims to strengthen the scientific and methodological base of parliamentary oversight and improve the legislative process. The collaboration will involve preparing analytical materials, expert examination of draft regulations, and monitoring the implementation of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy and state programs.
Focus will be placed on foreign policy, investment, tourism, and international relations. The partnership plans to implement a scientific approach to legislation, monitor program execution, and study best international practices.
The memorandum also emphasizes strengthening public oversight: experts and civil society institutions will actively participate in conferences, roundtables, and open discussions on international relations and economic diplomacy.
