Service Terms for Special Ranks Updated

A presidential decree has introduced changes to the service terms for special ranks in the Internal Affairs bodies, Customs Service, National Guard, and Armed Forces, establishing new service durations for these ranks.
On August 21, 2024, a presidential decree (PQ-296) was issued, updating the service terms for special ranks in the Internal Affairs bodies, Customs Service, National Guard, and Armed Forces. These changes aim to enhance personnel qualifications and improve service efficiency.
The new terms specify that the service duration for the rank of Senior Lieutenant is now 3 years, Captain is 4 years, Major is 5 years, and Lieutenant Colonel is 6 years. These regulations apply to both the Internal Affairs bodies and the Customs Service, increasing the demand for service and improving the quality of military personnel training.
A similar structure has been implemented for the National Guard and Armed Forces, ensuring stability in service and increasing the experience of personnel during their tenure.
