On November 6, as part of the program of the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Bishkek, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at his residence.
Topical issues of further development of Uzbek-Hungarian relations of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation were discussed.
The practical results of the interaction were noted with particular satisfaction. Trade turnover and the scale of industrial cooperation are growing, and work is underway to create an industrial park in the Tashkent region. In October, the first Forum of Regions was held in the city of Kokand. Important joint cultural events will take place in Budapest this month.
The leaders of the two countries reviewed the schedule of bilateral events. They emphasized the importance of forming a new portfolio of projects for trade, economic and investment cooperation between leading companies.
There was also an exchange of views on topical issues on the regional agenda.
