At the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) summit in Gabala, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented initiatives to boost the unity and global influence of the Turkic world.

He proposed holding in Samarkand the first joint meeting of foreign ministers and security chiefs of OTS to coordinate regional security policies.

Mirziyoyev urged the adoption of the Treaty on Strategic Partnership and Brotherhood and the OTS Development Strategy 2030, and called for creating a Permanent Council on Economic Partnership with a Project Office in Tashkent.

He proposed forming a Turkic Industrial Alliance, a “Green Corridors” system, and a “Green Transformation” consortium, as well as an Expert Group on Organic Farming and a unified Turkic organic brand for global markets.

The president emphasized developing the Middle Corridor, linking it with the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway and the Trans-Afghan route, while advancing customs digitalization and tariff optimization.

He proposed expanding the Turkic Investment Fund and creating a “Roadmap on Artificial Intelligence and the Creative Economy.”

Mirziyoyev announced the establishment of the International University of Turkic States in Uzbekistan and proposed hosting in 2026 an international conference on the legacies of Nizami Ganjavi and Alisher Navoi.
