The project, with a total cost of 58 million dollars, was fully implemented through foreign investments. Modern equipment from China, Türkiye, the Netherlands, and Spain has been imported and installed, enabling the production capacity of 300 thousand tons of metal pipes per year to be established.

There is a high demand for such durable pipes in the gas and chemical, mining, construction, and other industries. They will be used, in particular, in the construction of the gas-chemical complex MTO being built here.

The enterprise employs over 400 people.

Plans and information on the next stages of the plant's development have been presented to the President.

Work has begun on implementing the second phase of the project. It is planned to start production of tanks of various sizes resistant to high pressure. Another 500 new jobs will be created.

With the project reaching full capacity, the production of goods worth 121 million dollars will be possible, significantly increasing the export potential of the enterprise.

The President also met with representatives of the media.

"The purpose of our visit to Bukhara today is to improve the lives of over 2 million residents, create sources of income, and reduce poverty. In many areas of the region, there is high soil salinity. Therefore, we pay more attention not to agriculture but to industry. Why did we build this plant? Previously, we spent a lot of money on importing such pipes. Moreover, today we will start the construction of new facilities. Other enterprises and jobs will emerge around them. In the end, people's homes will have light, confidence, and hope. This hope unites us," said the President.

In the region's industry, the free economic zone "Karakul" will play an important role. It was established based on the corresponding decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 13, 2021. Its total area is 566 hectares, with 5 large projects already placed. Upon completion of all stages of their implementation, the total number of jobs will be about three thousand.
