The institutionalization of Uzbekistan's cultural presence at major international exhibition venues is becoming a key instrument for strengthening long-term interstate ties and showcasing the republic's civilizational heritage in the Middle East. A delegation from the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan paid a working visit to the site of the World Exhibition EXPO 2030 Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the visit, the Foundation's representatives familiarized themselves in detail with the master plan of the megaproject and inspected the land plot reserved for the construction of Uzbekistan's national pavilion.

A pivotal stage of the visit involved negotiations with Abdullah bin Al-Khamis, the Director for International Participants of EXPO 2030 Riyadh. The parties substantively discussed the spatial positioning of the future pavilion, its conceptual and thematic trajectory, and the timeline for subsequent preparatory milestones. The Saudi side highly praised the architectural and structural solutions of Uzbekistan's pavilion at the upcoming EXPO 2025 in Osaka, emphasizing the high-level execution of the project team. Particular emphasis during the meetings was placed on the sustainable utilization of the facility after the closure of the expo: both sides are evaluating the legal and technical viability of transforming the pavilion into a permanent cultural-diplomatic hub for Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia.
