The leaders of Uzbekistan and Serbia discussed further strengthening of multifaceted relations

A telephone conversation took place between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
The President of Serbia warmly congratulated the head of state on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, well-being, and continued success in his public life, as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed further strengthening of Uzbek-Serbian multifaceted relations. Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of the agreements reached following the Serbian President's visit to Uzbekistan last October.
The importance of consistently developing cooperation in trade, economic, investment, infrastructure, cultural, and humanitarian areas, as well as in tourism and organized labor migration, was emphasized.
The schedule of upcoming joint events was discussed, in particular the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, as well as the participation of the Uzbek delegation in the international exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade.
