Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbayeva, held a meeting with a high-level delegation from the State of Utah (USA), led by the President of the State Senate, J. Stuart Adams. During the conversation, the parties noted with satisfaction that the partnership between Uzbekistan and this U.S. state has acquired a stable and dynamic character in recent years.

The dialogue covered a wide spectrum of areas: from strengthening interparliamentary ties to joint initiatives in healthcare and the humanitarian sphere. Special attention was paid to the development of human capital and interaction between educational institutions. It was emphasized that regular visits by Utah delegations to Uzbekistan are already yielding results—interest from American business circles in the local market is growing, and partnerships between public organizations are becoming increasingly robust.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Tanzila Narbayeva received an official invitation to pay a return visit to the State of Utah. The parties confirmed their readiness for the institutional strengthening of the reached agreements and the implementation of joint investment and social projects.
