TBC Uzbekistan Joins the Global Ranking of Leading Fintech Companies
Uzbekistan
Digital bank TBC Uzbekistan has become the first fintech company from Uzbekistan and Central Asia to be included in the prestigious global ranking by CNBC and Statista in the category of fully digital banks (neobanks).
July 16, 2025, marked a milestone for Uzbekistan’s fintech sector as the TBC Uzbekistan ecosystem was listed among the world’s top neobanks. This is the first time a company from Uzbekistan and the broader Central Asian region has received such international recognition.
The CNBC and Statista ranking is one of the most respected in the fintech industry, based on a comprehensive analysis of key metrics such as revenue, profitability, customer base growth, transaction volume, team size, and more.
TBC Uzbekistan’s inclusion in this ranking highlights not only its leading position in the local market but also the strength of its business model. According to Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, this recognition reflects a strategy focused on sustainable growth, innovation, and a deep understanding of the digital customer.
“This is not just our achievement — it is a recognition of the potential of Uzbekistan’s entire fintech market, which is among the most dynamic and fastest-growing in the world,” she emphasized.
Over the past year, TBC has significantly expanded its product portfolio: launching the Salom Card for everyday payments, the Osmon Card credit card, the fully digital TBC Business platform with lending capabilities, and its own insurance company, TBC Sug’urta. In June 2025, the company also acquired a controlling stake in BILLZ — Uzbekistan’s leading SaaS platform for retail automation, strengthening its position in the SME segment.
TBC has ambitious plans ahead: ecosystem expansion, new products, and market entries. Inclusion in the global ranking is not the finish line — it's just the beginning.
