The banks of Uzbekistan will reduce interest rates on loans for entrepreneurs upon the creation of new jobs

Shavkat Mirziyoyev explained, using the example of the Yunusabad district, how it is necessary to work on increasing the population's income. He stated this at an extraordinary session of the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies.
It was noted that there is a huge difference between the remote part of Yunusabad and the district in the central part of the capital, with varying situations in terms of population income and created conditions.
In this regard, the importance of bank branches was emphasized, which not only serve clients' accounts but also act as a bridge between large clients and the neighbourhoods of the district.
Additionally, it was proposed to implement a new system whereby banks will reduce interest rates on loans issued to entrepreneurs after they create new jobs.
It was noted that the implementation of projects in the Yunusabad district could lead to an increase in the number of entrepreneurs and jobs, particularly in the reconstruction of some buildings into multi-storey trading, service, and catering facilities with underground parking lots, offices, and hotels.
