The Global Youth Festival has started in Uzbekistan

The Global Youth Festival will be held in five cities of Uzbekistan - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Jizzakh and Khiva - from 26 to 30 June 2024.
As part of the festival, Tashkent, the Youth Capital of the Commonwealth of Independent States, will host a scientific-practical conference on the study of youth problems of CIS member States, a meeting of youth parliaments of CIS member States, a business marathon with the participation of young entrepreneurs from CIS countries, a young reciters' competition and a chess tournament among young people from CIS countries.
These events will take place in the Palace of Youth Creativity, in front of the entrance to which a special monument was unveiled on 15 April 2024 in honour of the landmark event of Tashkent being declared the Youth Capital of the CIS in 2024.
A multifaceted entertainment and cultural programme awaits the participants of the Global Youth Festival in Tashkent.
The city of Tashkent was declared the Youth Capital of the CIS in 2024 by the Decision of the CIS Council of Heads of Government dated 8 June 2023.
