The historic agreement was marked by a light show
A grand drone show was held in the Tajik city of Khujand, dedicated to the historic agreement on the junction point of the borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. In honor of this event, portraits of the three presidents appeared in the night sky, and then drones lined up along the contours of the new borders, symbolizing the agreement reached.
The holiday was held within the framework of Navruz, an important traditional event celebrated in the region. Thousands of viewers watched as the drones created images of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Emomali Rahmon, and Sadyr Japarov with high precision. After that, the drones began moving, creating a border map, which is now officially fixed between the countries.
Local residents and guests of the city enthusiastically welcomed the unusual performance. Many noted that technology makes holidays more vibrant and spectacular, and the use of drones in Central Asia is becoming increasingly popular not only for entertainment purposes but also in the field of geodesy and cartography.
