On February 11, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received experts from the International Advisory Council—Alfred Gusenbauer, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, and Štefan Füle.
Discussions focused on pressing issues of mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at providing expert support for the implementation of reform strategies in New Uzbekistan, as well as expanding multifaceted collaboration with European Union countries and institutions.
The importance of studying and adopting advanced international experience, as well as attracting technology and investment for the modernization of various sectors of the national economy, was emphasized.
An exchange of views took place on international and regional issues of significance as part of preparations for the upcoming "European Union - Central Asia" summit, which will be held in Samarkand.
