A solemn ceremony of presenting credentials took place in Tashkent, where the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the new Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the six states. Representatives of Egypt, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Georgia, and Turkey began their diplomatic mission in the country.

With Egypt - investments in energy, agriculture and the textile industry, the upcoming visit of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

With Italy - expansion of projects in the field of "green" energy, education and mechanical engineering, preparation for the visit of the Prime Minister of Italy.

With Kyrgyzstan - the development of industrial cooperation, the launch of the China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan railway project.

With Belarus - strengthening trade and economic partnership, creating new joint ventures.

With Georgia - intensification of transport and logistics cooperation, development of cultural exchanges.

With Turkey - deepening the strategic partnership, launching new joint projects in the economy and education.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Uzbekistan wished the diplomats success in their work and expressed confidence in strengthening partnership with their countries. The ambassadors, in turn, assured that they would actively promote the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
