The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his trip to Kashkadarya, held an open dialogue with the local population, discussing the progress of reforms and their impact on the daily lives of citizens.
During his trip from Qarshi to Shahrisabz on June 19, 2025, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with representatives of Kashkadarya public on the train. Changes in cities and villages, living conditions of the population, the importance of peace and stability were discussed.
The Head of State emphasized that the policy of Uzbekistan is guided by the idea "In the name of human honor and dignity." Based on this, improving living conditions, increasing citizens' incomes, and improving neighborhoods are becoming priorities.
The programs being implemented to develop the regions and reduce poverty are creating conditions for decent work. Young people and women are receiving education in in-demand professions.
Economic transformations lead to the development of industry and the production of high-tech products. Large-scale projects are being implemented in agriculture, tourism, transport, and energy.
Noting the key role of road infrastructure, the President instructed to accelerate the repair of 100 km of roads in Kashkadarya in 2025 and to improve the adjacent territories. Over the past two years, 40,000 km of roads and 540 bridges have been repaired.
The meeting participants noted the positive changes in their lives, especially emphasizing the expanding opportunities for women in various fields of activity.
