The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan signed a historic Treaty of Eternal Friendship

Following high-level talks, a signing ceremony for bilateral documents was held.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed the Treaty of Eternal Friendship and the Decision of the Third Meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council.
The following documents were signed in the presence of the heads of state:
- Agreement on Cooperation in Pension Provision;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Culture;
- Agreement on Cooperation in Tourism;
- Program to Increase Trade Turnover to $1 Billion by 2030;
- Practical Action Plan for the Implementation of Agreements Reached in Investment and Trade;
- Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2027-2028;
- Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Justice for 2027-2028;
- Memorandum on the Exchange of Experience and Cooperation in Canine Management;
- Protocols establishing sister city relations between the cities of Urgench and Khankendi, Bukhara and Lachin, and Urgench and Nakhichevan.
The following documents were signed in the presence of the heads of state:
