A telephone conversation was held between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the conversation, the Russian leader cordially congratulated the head of our state on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, happiness, prosperity, and new achievements for the benefit of the friendly people of Uzbekistan.
Current issues related to the further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations, a comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, were discussed in the context of the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
Particular attention was paid to maintaining the growth dynamics of mutual trade turnover, promoting cooperation projects between leading enterprises and companies in priority areas, and expanding productive cooperation between the regions of the two countries.
The ongoing active cultural and humanitarian exchange was noted with deep satisfaction.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia also reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
