The heads of state visited the Nigora factory, part of the Merganteks cotton and textile cluster in the Bukhara region.

The factory, built as part of a $35 million project, covers the entire production cycle—from processing raw cotton to producing finished fabrics and garments.

Clothing and finished goods manufactured under the Shoyigul brand are exported primarily to European countries, particularly Italy, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Germany. 840 jobs have been created there.

The factory is equipped with modern Chinese, German, and Belgian high-tech equipment that meets international standards. The second stage plans to launch the production of synthetic fibers and finished products.

The distinguished guests toured the company's showroom and a display of finished products.

The Tajik delegation praised the quality of the company's products, which have achieved annual export volumes of $10 million.

The presidents emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries' leading enterprises.
