The National Anti-Doping Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers has been reorganized into the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The corresponding Presidential Decree was adopted on May 8.

According to the Decree, the National Anti-Doping Agency has the status of an executive authority of the Republic and is accountable to the President and the Cabinet of Ministers. There is also ongoing monitoring and prompt compliance with the requirements and rules of the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Determine that, taking into account the recommendations of the World Anti-Doping Agency, as well as before the introduction of a unified wage system in ministries and departments in accordance with the administrative reforms of New Uzbekistan, starting from May 15, 2023:

in accordance with the approved categories of remuneration according to the Unified Tariff Scale, when determining the official salaries of employees of the National Anti-Doping Agency, tariff coefficients are applied in a 2.5-fold amount;
employees of the National Anti-Doping Agency at the expense of the State budget are paid a monthly bonus for the length of service (in coefficients in relation to the official salary, taking into account the incentive coefficient) in the following amounts: from 1 year to 3 years - 0.3, from 3 to 5 years - 0 ,6, from 5 to 10 years - 0.8, from 10 to 15 years - 1.0, from 15 to 20 years - 1.2, over 20 - 1.5.
The International Testing Agency will begin training doping officers of the international category who have the right to take doping tests at competitions held in the Republic and abroad.

The areas of anti-doping control and monitoring will also be digitized. In this:

an online system “biological passport of an athlete” (BPS) will be introduced, concerning the organization of doping testing and doping control, collection and storage of information about athletes;
an electronic platform for anti-doping education will be created for athletes;
The National Platform for Testing Banned Substances in Sports will be phased in.
