In poor families, 23,000 individuals who cannot move independently are being cared for by their parents, spouses, children, or siblings.
Starting next year, with the involvement of local social workers and the private sector, home care will be organized for 19,000 of these individuals, and daytime care will be provided for 4,000.
As a result, opportunities for employment will be created for 15,000 people who were previously engaged in caring for their relatives.
The state will reimburse 80% of the expenses incurred by poor families for such services provided by the private sector.
This initiative is planned to be implemented in Tashkent by March 1, and in other regions by the end of the year.
