Trump Vows Strong Response After Deaths of US Troops

US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning following the deaths of American service members in an attack on military facilities in Jordan, saying he has instructed military leaders to prepare a tough response to Iran's actions.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he had directed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Daniel Caine, and senior US military leaders to take action. He stated that "every time Iran kills an American soldier, they will pay many times over."
Earlier, the US military reported that two American service members were killed in Jordan on 17 July in a missile and drone attack that Washington attributes to Iran. One service member remains missing, while four others were injured and hospitalized.
Trump's remarks come amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran and signal a further hardening of Washington's stance toward Tehran.
