The United Nations Security Council&#39;s Resolution 1701, adopted in 2006, called for a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory. The current violation of this resolution poses a renewed risk of escalation in the long-standing conflict between Lebanon and Israel. Meanwhile, Lebanon is undergoing significant internal political changes. In the second round of voting, the Lebanese parliament elected Joseph Aoun, the commander-in-chief of the army, as the country&rsquo;s president. This decision aims to strengthen Lebanon&rsquo;s armed forces and ensure internal stability.
