According to Russia’s operational headquarters, on the night of March 19, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) launched a drone attack on an oil depot in the Krasnodar region. As a result, a fire broke out over an area of 20 square meters, and a pipeline between storage tanks was damaged. The fire was classified as fourth-degree complexity, and the plant’s operations were temporarily suspended. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties, but 30 on-duty personnel were evacuated.

Flight restrictions have been introduced in Russia. The country’s aviation authorities announced temporary restrictions at airports in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Nizhnekamsk.

This Ukrainian attack was carried out in response to Russia’s launch of around 40 kamikaze drones.

In a Telegram statement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reminded that Russian President Vladimir Putin had supported U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to halt strikes on Russia’s and Ukraine’s energy infrastructure for 30 days.

Ukraine is ready to support Trump’s proposal, but if Russia does not stop its attacks, retaliatory strikes will continue. During a press conference, Zelenskyy stated: "We are ready to stop attacks on energy infrastructure. But if Russia continues its strikes, we will not leave it unanswered."
