World
Ulaanbaatar has introduced rules for driving cars on even-numbered and odd-numbered days.
Restrictions on the movement of cars with even and odd number plates have been introduced in the capital of Mongolia. This is reported by middleasiannews.com.
It is noted that the governor of the capital and the mayor of the city Nyambaatar Khishge informed about the rules of online classes in schools and kindergartens until the end of the year, as well as limiting the use of cars on even and odd numbers.
To reduce traffic congestion, drivers with odd-numbered licence plates can drive around the city on odd-numbered days, while drivers with even-numbered licence plates can drive on even-numbered days.
The scheme reportedly runs from 18 December to 1 February. However, it is not new to the Mongolian capital.
