The grand opening of the Palace of Water Sports took place in Karshi. Built with the support of the Federation of Trade Unions, this state-of-the-art complex not only hosted the "Suv Parisi" international tournament but has also become the primary base for training the country's future Olympic champions.

The city of Karshi held a solemn ceremony for the commissioning of its modern Palace of Water Sports. The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees of Uzbekistan, and Shakhnoza Mirziyoyeva, a member of the World Aquatics Bureau. She emphasized that the new facility is a testament to the state's significant focus on developing water sports and ensuring social protection for athletes.

The technical infrastructure of the complex is impressive, featuring four specialized swimming pools and two modern training halls. The stands accommodate 700 spectators, enabling the hosting of world-class competitions. The palace's infrastructure is fully equipped for training camps across all aquatic disciplines, including Paralympic categories.

The symbolic debut of the new arena featured the award ceremony for winners and prize-holders of the "Suv Parisi" international synchronized swimming tournament. Officials noted that this facility, established with the participation of the Trade Unions, will serve as a vital training ground for Uzbekistan's national teams. The project aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen the country's standing on the international sporting stage.
