World
Uzbekistan and Italy have agreed to employ Uzbek citizens in seasonal agricultural jobs, with contracts ranging from three to nine months.
Uzbekistan has signed an agreement with Associazione Imprese Ortofrutticole to facilitate seasonal employment in agriculture.
Talks held in Tashkent involved Bekhzod Musaev, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, Francesco Lollobrigida, and representatives of Confagricoltura, including Luca Brondelli.
The association объединяет более 35 компаний и охватывает полный цикл производства и экспорта плодоовощной продукции.
According to Marco Salvi, around 100 Uzbek workers are expected to be employed in 2026 under a pilot program.
The initiative is part of broader agricultural cooperation, including Uzbekistan’s plans to import AI-based agricultural technologies from Italy.
