Uzbek students will have more opportunities to study in Hungary
A delegation from Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) visited Budapest, where meetings were held with Bruno van Pottelsberge, Rector of Corvinus University, and Csaba Gyuricza, Rector of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE).

The discussions focused on joint degree programs, scientific research, and academic exchange between faculty and students. Plans include launching a program in agribusiness, organizing Hungarian language courses for TSAU students with the participation of Hungarian experts, and implementing projects in water management and veterinary sciences.

Cooperation with MATE will also allow Uzbek professors to take part in academic internships, contribute to joint research projects, and publish results in international journals. Additionally, TSAU professors will be invited to international conferences as guest lecturers.

An important part of the talks concerned the expansion of the joint program in agriculture and food technologies, launched in 2023. A key outcome was the decision to increase the number of Uzbek students pursuing studies in Hungary.

The visit confirmed the high level of strategic partnership between the universities of the two countries and laid the foundation for further educational and scientific collaboration in the near future.
