Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Expand Strategic Prosecutorial Cooperation

Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have taken another step toward strengthening cooperation in law enforcement. During the official visit of Uzbekistan's Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldashev, the two sides signed a new cooperation programme and agreed to expand collaboration in digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

As part of the visit, Nigmatilla Yuldashev held talks with Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev. Following the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation programme aimed at deepening professional ties, exchanging expertise, providing reciprocal staff training, and conducting joint investigations.

Special attention was given to expanding cooperation in the use of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and electronic evidence in law enforcement. According to Kamran Aliyev, cooperation between the two prosecutorial authorities is already at a high level and will continue to develop in new areas.

During the visit, Nigmatilla Yuldashev was also awarded the "100th Anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan" commemorative medal in recognition of his contribution to bilateral cooperation. He described the award as a great honour and a symbol of the strong friendship and partnership between the two countries.
