The Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and China have agreed to maintain the high momentum of bilateral relations. An important meeting took place in Almaty between Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and China’s Foreign Minister.

Sharing details of the meeting on his Telegram channel, Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized: "We held an effective meeting with Mr. Wang Yi in Almaty, discussing openly and thoroughly the deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China." Their discussion covered a wide range of areas, including trade, transport and logistics connections, regional security, and international cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides extensively discussed the development of mutual trade relations, the expansion of transport-logistics infrastructure, strengthening regional security, and deepening international collaboration.

At the conclusion of the dialogue, the Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and China reached a firm agreement to maintain and consistently develop the high momentum of their comprehensive strategic partnership.
