Issues related to the further development and deepening of Uzbek-Russian relations in the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, primarily in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, were thoroughly discussed.

"Your state visit can rightfully be called historic. It marks the beginning of a new stage in the relationship of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between our countries," emphasized Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue intensive contacts at the level of parliaments, governments, ministries, departments, regions, public, expert, and business circles.

Satisfactory progress was noted in the stable dynamics of mutual trade turnover. Over the past 7 years, it has increased 2.5 times. The parties agreed on a new target indicator - to achieve trade volumes of $30 billion in the near future.

To facilitate the achievement of this goal, a full-fledged trade representation of Uzbekistan will be launched in Russia.

New projects of industrial cooperation in energy, metallurgy, petro chemistry, mechanical engineering, extractive industries, agriculture, logistics, pharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, and many other areas totalling over $20 billion have been developed for the current summit.

To promote such projects, a Joint Investment Platform is being launched.

Particular attention was paid to the growing cooperation between the regions. Last week, the leaders of all regions of Uzbekistan visited Russia. Today, under the chairmanship of the heads of states, the first meeting of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia will be held.

Following the negotiations, the heads of states instructed to develop "roadmaps" for each direction with implementation mechanisms.
