Uzbekistan ranked first among Central Asian countries in terms of the growth in the number of foreign tourists. In 2024, about 8 million visitors visited the country, which is 20.1% more than a year earlier. This indicator made the republic an absolute leader in the region in terms of the growth rate of tourist flows.

Overall, 28.6 million tourists visited Central Asian countries last year, an 11% increase compared to 2023. Kazakhstan hosted the largest number of foreigners - 15.3 million, followed by Kyrgyzstan (8.6 million), and Uzbekistan confidently took third place, but it was Uzbekistan that showed the highest growth rate.

Experts attribute the country's success to the active development of tourism infrastructure and the promotion of historical and cultural heritage. The simplification of entry procedures also played an important role, making Uzbekistan increasingly attractive for travelers from all over the world.
