Uzbekistan Delegation Attends UIPM Congress in Riyadh

From November 15-17, a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the president of the Uzbekistan Modern Pentathlon Federation, Bakhromjon Gaziev, attended the 73rd Congress of the International Modern Pentathlon Union (UIPM) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. On November 16, Robert Stall, the president of the USA Modern Pentathlon Federation, was elected as the new president of UIPM.
This event marked a new phase in the development of modern pentathlon on the international stage. Dr. Klaus Schorman, who led UIPM for many years, was awarded the honorary president title for his significant contributions to the sport.
In Uzbekistan, modern pentathlon has seen active development over the past six years. During this time, with the support of the government and efforts of the federation, Uzbek athletes earned two licenses and competed in the last two Olympic Games. We wish our athletes continued success and Olympic medals.
