Uzbekistan Dispatches 15 Trucks of Humanitarian Aid to Iran
Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its humanitarian bridges in the Middle East. Just two months after a large-scale food supply mission, Tashkent has launched the second phase of its solidarity program with Iran. This time, a convoy packed with critical medical and pharmaceutical supplies crossed the border, aiming to save thousands of lives and alleviate pressure on the local healthcare system.
Uzbekistan has dispatched its second batch of humanitarian aid to Iran. A convoy of 15 heavy-duty trucks successfully crossed the land border via the "Dargaz" international checkpoint. This current shipment is entirely comprised of in-demand pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies.
The entire cargo is being handed over to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, whose staff will handle its distribution to citizens in need. This initiative serves as a direct follow-up to the March mission, during which Tashkent supplied Iran with tons of essential food products—including flour, rice, oil, and canned goods—alongside vital medicines.
