The Uzbek Culture and National Cuisine Festival, held in London on June 8-9, received extensive coverage in the UK media, reports the information agency "Dunyo" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The festival featured renowned artists, craftsmen, designers, tour operators, and chefs from over 100 countries.

According to the organizers, the event was attended by more than 30,000 guests, including British officials, businesspeople, scholars, cultural representatives, media, diplomats, the diaspora, and foreign tourists.

Maria Bregman, the author of the article "Uzbek Culture and Food Festival 2024," published in the British magazine Creativitys, stated that the unique Uzbek culture festival in London was a vibrant celebration of music, dance, culinary tastings, and craft exhibitions.

In addition, the festival was covered by the British magazine London Cult and the Uzbek service of the BBC, the world's largest media corporation.

Special exhibition stands showcased national costumes, examples of folk art, as well as photo books and brochures highlighting Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage and tourism potential. Guests enjoyed a concert program and 2 tons of plov were prepared in specially brought giant cauldrons.

It should be noted that the event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London, the Tourism Committee, the Ministry of Culture, the public foundation "Vatandoshlar," and Uzbekistan Airways JSC, with the support of the Uzbek diaspora and Uzbek entrepreneurs in London.
