Uzbekistan Hosts Museum Week: Free Entry to 114 State Museums

From September 2 to 8, 2026, state museums, museum-reserves and house museums within the system of the Agency of Cultural Heritage are holding Museum Week. As part of the initiative, visitors can enter 114 state museums and museum-reserves under the Agency free of charge.
Museum Week offers an opportunity to explore Uzbekistan’s history, art and national cultural heritage more closely. Visitors can also learn more about unique museum exhibits and ancient monuments of historical and cultural significance.
During the week, museums are holding open days and inviting everyone to visit their exhibitions and explore their collections. Free admission applies to state museums, museum-reserves and house museums within the system of the Agency of Cultural Heritage.
