Uzbekistan increased its foreign trade to $31 billion

Uzbekistan continues to demonstrate positive dynamics in its foreign economic activity. According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-May of this year, the volume of the country's foreign trade turnover reached $31.3 billion. This is 15% more than in the same period of 2024, with an increase of 4 billion dollars in absolute terms.
The growth of foreign trade activity is ensured both by the increase in exports and the expansion of imports. In the first five months of 2025, the volume of Uzbekistan's exports amounted to $14.8 billion, corresponding to a 31.1% growth.
Import deliveries for the same period amounted to $16.4 billion. Compared to January-May of last year, imports increased by 3.7%.
Statistics confirm the steady trend of expanding Uzbekistan's foreign economic relations with international partners, which collectively reflects the gradual strengthening of the country's position in global trade.
