Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran are planning to create an international transport and transit corridor. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

It is noted that on July 31, negotiations were held in the form of a videoconference between representatives of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Republic of Iran. During the meeting, the issues of accelerating the signing of an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran on the organization of an international transport corridor, reducing fees from national transportation for international road transport in Iran, the possibility of using the ports of Bandar Abbas and Chabahor for export and import cargo, as well as the development of the international transport route Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Iran.
