The meeting reviewed problems in the work of regional departments, compliance with environmental requirements and the application of administrative penalties. Participants noted that environmental oversight had been insufficient in some regions.

Shortcomings were identified in detecting repeat offenders involved in waste-related violations and in correctly applying administrative sanctions. The meeting also addressed the installation of equipment to monitor emissions into the atmosphere and its integration into the electronic monitoring system. In some regions, progress had been inadequate, while certain entities had failed to report the installation of equipment or submit the required documentation.

The handling of public complaints also drew criticism. In several cases, effective measures had not been taken to address issues raised by citizens.

Strict disciplinary measures were imposed on those responsible. The dismissals included the head and deputy head of the Andijan Regional Ecology Department, the head and deputy head of the Namangan Regional Ecology Department, and the head of the Khorezm Regional Ecology Department.

The meeting also established specific tasks to address the identified shortcomings and improve the effectiveness of environmental oversight. The measures are aimed at strengthening regional monitoring, improving responses to violations and ensuring compliance with environmental requirements.
