According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2025, the total housing stock in Uzbekistan reached 703.8 million square meters.
Over the past four years, this figure has increased by 1.3 times, demonstrating steady growth year by year:
2021 – 549 million m²
2022 – 636.4 million m²
2023 – 658.4 million m²
2024 – 692.5 million m²
2025 – 703.8 million m²
This expansion is the result of the construction of new apartment buildings, private homes, and social housing. Government programs supporting affordable housing, mortgage lending, and reforms in the construction sector played a key role in this progress.
Improving living conditions, modernizing housing infrastructure, and ensuring environmentally safe housing construction remain among the government’s top priorities.
