Uzbekistan’s military sharpshooters outclassed elite teams from 25 countries at a major international sniper tournament held in China.
The Uzbek sniper team claimed a resounding victory at the prestigious “Sharp Blade-2025” international competition in Ürümqi, China. The tournament featured 45 teams from 25 countries, including South Korea, Russia, Spain, Indonesia, Hungary, and Cuba.
Uzbek marksmen took first place in two of the most challenging disciplines:
Rapid elimination of 24 targets at 1.2 kilometers;
Precision strikes on six urban targets ranging from 100 to 650 meters.
In addition to these key victories, the team earned eight medals, ten diplomas, and several individual awards across different categories.
This success highlights the high level of training and professionalism of Uzbekistan’s National Guard forces and bolsters the country’s international reputation in defense and security fields.
