The Ulema Council of the Muslim Administration of Uzbekistan decided to mark the first day of Kurban Hayit in Uzbekistan on June 28, 2023. The presidential decree sets five days off in honor of the holiday.

The Ulema Council of the Muslims' Administration of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution on establishing the first day of Eid al-Adha in Uzbekistan as 28 June 2023. The presidential decree established five days off in honor of the sacred holiday, regardless of the type of work week, from June 28 to July 2:

June 28, Wednesday - Kurban Hayit holiday;
June 29, Thursday - additional day off for all employees regardless of the type of work week;
June 30, Friday - extra day off for all employees regardless of the type of work week;
July 1, Saturday - extra day off for employees with a six-day work week;
July 2, Sunday - calendar day off.
