We are not afraid that Russia will make territorial claims - Tokayev

According to him, the border between Kazakhstan and Russia was delimited and demarcated, approved and ratified by the parliaments of both countries.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that there is no threat from Russia regarding territorial claims. He spoke about this at a press conference following negotiations with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan will continue friendly relations with Russia on a bilateral basis and within the framework of relevant integration associations.
“As for the border between Kazakhstan and Russia, it was at one time delimited and largely demarcated, confirmed and ratified by the parliaments of the two countries. Therefore, we do not have any concerns regarding territorial claims on the part of Russia,” said the head of Kazakhstan.
