The World Health Organisation (WHO) urged people to be careful when using artificial intelligence programs. Including ChatGPT chatbots. According to the organisation, AI threatens people's independence and health.

WHO called for the careful use of AI in the field of health
"WHO calls for caution when using tools for creating large language models (LLMS) created by artificial intelligence (AI) to protect and promote the well-being, safety and autonomy of people, as well as to preserve public health," the message published on the organization's website says.

LLMS includes ChatGPT, Bert, Bard and others. These platforms are expanding rapidly, they are able to simulate the understanding and reproduction of human communication. The WHO added that it is necessary to carefully study the risks when using LLMS. And then analyse the importance of evidence in favour of the use of AI in the health care system.

Hasty implementation of untested systems can lead to medical errors, harm patients and undermine trust in AI, the WHO noted.
