Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed the Verkhovna Rada to prepare a plan for functioning under conditions of conflict for the next three years, according to sources cited by “Ukrainskaya Pravda.”

Zelensky tasked Andriy Motovilovets, First Deputy Head of the “Servant of the People” faction, with drafting a plan for the parliament to operate for one, two, and even three years under wartime conditions.

Sources report that no strict deadlines have been set for the completion of the plan, but work is already underway.

The pause in conflict resolution negotiations is attributed to the U.S. shifting its focus to the situation in the Middle East. Earlier, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the tripartite working group on security involving Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine is on hold. Talks may resume once Washington can dedicate more attention and coordinate schedules.
