A Chinese trade house opened in Ferghana

Governor of Fergana region Khairullo Bozorov warmly received a delegation headed by Deng Bo, Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Trade of Chengdu, China, on 21 March. This was announced in the Fergana Region Administration.
At the meeting, Chinese businessmen exchanged views on new projects to be implemented in Ferghana in the future in the spheres of industry, engineering, agriculture and tourism.
Deng Bo spoke about plans to create an extensive Chinese industrial park in the region, focused on car production and integration of production lines of Chinese industrial giants. Initiatives were also proposed to promote the export of agricultural products from Fergana to China and to expand cooperation in the burgeoning tourism sector.
A notable outcome of the meeting was the opening of the Chengdu Trading House in Ferghana, symbolising a concrete step towards market integration. In addition, plans were unveiled to organise a fair of agricultural products from Fergana in Chengdu, which will give local enterprises the opportunity to showcase their goods to Chinese consumers.
