A 450-kilometer railway will be built from China Kashgar to Uzbekistan Andijon.
A strategic project implementation agreement on the construction of the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway was signed in Beijing.
The president addressed the participants of the signing ceremony of this agreement, which is important for Uzbekistan, in particular Andijan.
- This railway will become the shortest land route connecting China with our region. In the future, this road will allow our countries to reach the wide markets of South Asia and the Middle East through the promising Trans – Caspian corridor, " the head of state said in his address.
