In the first round of the Asian Women's Football Cup qualifying, the Uzbekistan national team secured a convincing victory against Sri Lanka with a score of 10:0. The match took place in Tashkent as part of the qualifying tournament of the "F" group.
On June 30th, the group stage of the "AFC Women's Asian Cup Australia-2026" qualifying tournament, which will take place in March of next year, kicked off in Tashkent. In the "F" group, the Uzbekistan national team is competing against the teams of Nepal, Laos, and Sri Lanka.
