A large-scale summer program for schoolchildren is being launched

In Uzbekistan, a large-scale program to cover schoolchildren with developmental, intellectual growth, and leisure projects is starting in the summer period. This was announced during a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
For summer employment and youth development, several initiatives will be implemented at once:
In summer camps, children and teenagers will be involved in the "Ibrat farzandlari," "Qizlar akademiyasi" programs, as well as the "Mutolaa" reading project.
Day camps for 100 thousand students will be opened on the basis of schools.
The school intellectual game league "Zakovat" will begin its work.
Within the framework of the "Digital Generation" project, at least 50 thousand teenagers will receive training in the field of IT, as well as participate in regional esports tournaments. The "Digital Generation: Girls" project will be implemented separately - with competitions at the district and regional levels.
Within the framework of the volunteer project "My Mahalla - My Pride," 100 thousand young people will be involved in providing social assistance.
Attention will also be paid to safe recreation on the water: events will be organized to effectively use more than 150 artificial and all natural reservoirs, with mandatory safety.
"Youth Tourism Month" will be held in the country - excursions to museums and historical monuments will be organized for a million students.
